Patrick Dougherty

I graduated from Loyola University of  Los Angeles in 1970.  I worked in the development field of 
the residential construction industry from 1970 through1984.  In 1980, while I was still winding 

down operations for the developer I was working for,  I built the Del Mar Fish Market with my 

present partner.  In 1984 Dave Steigerwald and I started our company focusing on upscale 

residential and commercial construction.  I have been on the board of directors of the Del Mar 

Rotary Club and have been a member since 2000.  I have had the good fortune and health to have 

played competitive soccer on three continents and continue to play today.   I have been married 

to my wife Kim for over 35 years and we have a son Pete who is  a sophomore at Santa Fe Christian.  

We have resided in Solana Beach since1993 and in North County since 1976.
