I was born and raised in a small tobacco town in southern Virginia. When I say small, I mean small---there were only 13 people in my high school graduating class.
I have a teaching and nursing background with a B.S. from the College of William and Mary. Here locally, I worked with Hospice and taught their classes on death and dying. Also, I was
one of the founders of Fraternity House (home for people with AIDS) and have been involved with the HIV/AIDS community for more than 20 years.
My past experience includes serving on a school board in Arizona and also serving as president of the American Association of University Women.
Roger and I moved to Solana Beach in 1984. I am currently busy being a grandmother which I love more than tennis, golf or reading.
